My Hero

My dear husband is my Hero.  We've been married 47 years and although our lives have changed very much, we have maintained our love and commitment to each other.  Jesus Christ has been the center of our lives and we have so much to be thankful for.   Our very first decision when we married was that we would tithe 10% of our income to God.  Because of His wonderful promises in Malachi 3, we've been blessed with a wonderful family and so many other things that money cannot buy.  As we moved around with the military, God always placed us near a great church where we could grow in Him and raise our family.  It is truly a great blessing to attend a church where you are taught the Bible, and can fellowship and grow with great Christians.  I urge you to find a good church and attend with your family.

  1. My husband is my hero, too. I have seen him come to God and become such a wonderful godly man. God has brought us thru some trials and used our business to bring us to attention.
When we began turning to God and understanding the importance of giving God what he asks, 10% of which 100% belongs to Him. We saw amazing things begin to happen. Like all our bills were met when the checkbook says that is not possible.

There were times when it was hard to drop that check in the offering plate. Afterall, we were struggling to pay our bills. This small 10% I had to give could pay my phone or light bill. But we gave and 'miraculously' all are bills were paid. On paper, in the natural, it didnot work, but when God is involved we are dealing in the supernatural and there is nothing that can't happen. Praise to our Lord and Savior.
